Artur Beterbiev’s world light heavyweight title defence against Callum Smith has a new date. 

The contest was originally set for August 19, but this was then postponed after Beterbiev had to undergo surgery on his jaw. 

Now the two will meet early next year with Smith attempting to become a two-weight world champion against one of boxing’s hardest hitters.
