Looking to kick off fight week in style, Dan Hewitt will be hosting tonight's E-Press Conference and interviewing both fighters ahead of an intriguing match up in the Light Heavyweight division.
Alfonso "El Tigre" Lopez last fought in November of 2019, putting in a solid peformance against Denis Grachev to win the NABF Light Heavyweight Title, the latest victory in a run that see's Lopez currently undefeated in just short of 9 years.
Gilberto Ramirez will be fighting for only the second time at Light Heavyweight and is clearly looking for a step up in level at his new weight class. The undefeated "Zurdo" picked up a TKO victory of Tommy Karpency on his Light Heavyweight debut back in Apri 2019.
Boxing TV's Dan Hewitt will also be speaking with Michael Hunter, who is also due to fight on the card, for the first time since drawing with recent Dillian Whyte conqueror, Alexander Povetkin. Ivan Vasquez will also be joining tonight's proceedings.
40-0 former WBO Super Middeweight champion Gilberto Ramirez is set to face 32-3 Alfonso Lopez at the Galveston Convention Centre, Galveston, USA in what is being billed as "Battle of Rio Grande" next Friday, 18th December.
