MTK Global officially announced the signing of unbeaten welterweight star Eryk Apresyan.
Apresyan (5-0, 4 KOs) was born in Poland and now resides in Marbella, and has looked superb during his professional career so far.
He has won four of his five fights since knockout, two of them being in the very first round, and is extremely delighted to join the team.
Apresyan said: “I’m so excited. The contract is big motivation for me. I know that with MTK Global I can show myself to the world, so it’s showtime.
“I was born in Poland. My mother is Polish, and my father is Armenian. I’ve got 110 amateur fights, winning 100 and losing just 10.
“I won five Polish Championships and represented Poland at the biggest amateurs tournaments, and my biggest amateur achievement was when I won a World Bronze Medal and European Silver Medal.
“I really like training in Marbella, and especially in the MTK Marbella gym. The pople are really nice, the atmosphere is great, and the weather in Marbella is good for training.
“The biggest plus is the man who I met, my coach Albert Ayrapetyan. Albert is a great person and the best trainer I’ve trained with.
“I just want to be the best like all athletes. Boxing is my life, I believe in my self and I know that with hard work I’ll be a legendary boxer, especially now that I am working with the best coach Albert.”
MTK Scout Thomas Stalker added: “I’ve seen him in the gym and he’s very talented. It’s great that he’s getting the opportunity because I think he can go really far.
“He’s got a great style and has knocked out everyone bar one in his career, so he’s going to be a really good fighter.”
