Music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins has once again teamed up with Hall of Fame promoter Frank Warren and BoxNation to host an exciting evening of Championship Boxing on Monday 18th November at the London Hilton Hotel on Park Lane.
Now in its 11th year the event will see the prestigious Nordoff Robbins Boxing Icon Award handed to year’s winner in celebration of their glittering career and sporting achievements, all while raising funds for Nordoff Robbins.
Nordoff Robbins is the largest independent music therapy charity in the UK, dedicated to enriching the lives of people affected by life limiting illness, isolation or disability. It supports thousands of people through its own centres and by working in partnership with organisations including care homes, schools and hospitals.
Its expert music therapists can help people with dementia reconnect with family members, children with autism to speak for the first time and give those living with mental health problems moments of genuine calm and peace.

The boxing dinner has proudly over half a million pounds for Nordoff Robbins since it began, and also supports the London ExBoxers Association (LEBA) and previous honourees have included John Conteh, David Haye, Ricky Hatton, and most recently Prince Naseem. Last year for the first time the event also handed out the ‘Special Achievement Award’ which went to female boxer Nicola Adams in recognition to her services in boxing and unprecedented success.
Hosted by TV favourite Anton Du Beke, these years event will treat guest to a champagne reception, three-course dinner, music entertainment, award ceremony, guest speakers and of course, live professional boxing. Entertainment in the past has been brought by the likes of Beverly Knight, Alfie Boe and Madness.
