The sports streaming giant kicked off 2020 by revealing some of their record consumption stats from 2019. Despite boxing being the least watched sport ( see consumption table below) the highly anticipated rematch between heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz Jr. was the most-streamed event on DAZN in 2019.
Although the Top Ten list is dominated by Football ( soccer), boxing is still holding its own as producing some of the biggest consumed events.. Infact 4 of the top 10 most streamed events on DAZN were indeed boxing events. 3 of those were in the top 5. Ruiz vs. Joshua II , Canelo vs. Kovalev , KSI vs. Logan Paul , Canelo vs. Jacobs were all in the top ten. Having 2 events on the list makes Canelo DAZN’s number 1 Boxing star. Joshua Ruiz 1 did not make the list.
