02/06/1967 - Muhammad Ali unifies NYSAC – WBA – WBC

After Ali was stripped by the WBA Ernie Terrell ended up picking up the Vacant WBA Championship belt which, to many boxing fans, caused great confusion.

Many saw Ali as the only and rightful champion.  But after some great performances from Terrell many fans started to accept we had 2 rightful champions.  Both men finally had the opportunity to prove who the rightful champion of all the belts was.  Ali beat Ernie Terrell comprehensively over 15 rounds on February 6, 1967 in what many call the performance of Ali’s career
