Pound-for-pound great and Mexican superstar Canelo Álvarez will defend his unified WBC, WBA, and WBO Super Middleweight World Titles against undefeated WBA No. 1-Ranked Mandatory Contender Edgar Berlanga. This highly anticipated event takes place on Mexican Independence Day weekend, headlining a PBC Pay-Per-View event on Prime Video from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
This bout continues the long-standing boxing rivalry between Mexico and Puerto Rico. Canelo, known for his epic battles against Puerto Rican legends like Miguel Cotto, will face the undefeated knockout artist Edgar Berlanga.
