On Thursday, July 24, two of Golden Boy’s brightest rising stars — Manuel “Gucci Manny” Flores and Jorge “El Niño Dorado” Chavez — will square off in a high-stakes super bantamweight clash live on Golden Boy Fight Night on DAZN.

The 10-round main event headlines from the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California. The global DAZN broadcast kicks off at 6:00 p.m. PT.

Trained by the Diaz brothers in Indio — alongside world-level fighters like Israil Madrimov and Murodjon Akhmadaliev — Flores is locked in and leveling up.

San Diego’s Jorge Chavez (14-0, 8 KOs) isn’t coming to play underdog.

A polished boxer-puncher with deep amateur experience and an unbeaten pro record, Chavez sees July 24 as his breakout moment.

“Fantasy Springs is close to home, and I know my people will show up,” said Chavez. “Manny Flores is a good fighter, but I’m ready for this challenge. Winning this fight takes me to another level.”

Chavez turned pro in 2021 and signed with Golden Boy two years later. Most recently, he outclassed Brandon Douglas on the Fundora vs. Badillo undercard, delivering another crowd-pleasing performance. He trains under Hector Lopez in Santa Ana alongside names like Alexis Rocha and Ronny Rios, constantly sharpening his skills.
