Knockout specialist Vergil Ortiz Jr. challenges champion Eimantas Stanionis for the WBA Regular welterweight title on July 8 in Texas, broadcast live on DAZN .
The fighters will each be making their 2023 debuts in the match, as Ortiz (19-0-0, 19 KOs) was last in action in a victory over Michael McKinson in August while Stanionis hasn’t fought since winning the WBA title against Radzhab Butaev on April 16, 2022.
